After an incredibly lackluster weekend on the big screen, Diesel’s career as the titular character of Valiant Comics had essentially ended. However, Sony still offers movie fans a chance to see the action movie by releasing it on demand months earlier than originally planned. Directed by first feature assistant Dave Wilson, “Bloodshot” tells the story of Ray Garrison (Diesel), a soldier who dies in combat, only to be revived with superhuman abilities. The script was written by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer. Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, Talulah Riley, Lamorne Morris and Guy Pearce also star in the film.
