It has been announced that Remdesivir, which the US President Donald Trump has also launched as a “promising drug against coronavirus,” failed in the full-capacity clinical test conducted by WHO. WHO selected 237 patients in its clinical test. Some of these patients received drug therapy, while others did not. Afterwards, it was examined whether there was an improvement in the healing processes of patients taking Remdesivir. WHO noticed that Remdesivir had no effect while the process was going on, as well as making patients worse due to their side effects. For this reason, the organization, which terminated the test process early, added this test to the public “clinical trials” database. Later, this report was also removed.
