Netflix also released the series’ official synopsis: “An ode to terror, humor and pop culture, Reality Z narrates in 10 episodes a zombie apocalypse that imprisons participants and producers of a reality show called Olympus. On a night of elimination from the program, the studio becomes a shelter for those who seek salvation in a Rio de Janeiro where madness and horror come to reign ”. Reality Z is inspired by Dead Set, a British series created by Charlie Brooker (Black Mirror). In it, the participants of a reality show are confined in the house, with the producers, and need to decide how to get out of that situation. In addition to Sato, Guilherme Weber, Ana Hartmann, Emilio de Mello, Carla Ribas, Luellem de Castro and Jesus Luz complete the main cast.
