This is the News Bar, a sidebar that concentrates news curation by Microsoft itself. The resource has more than 4,500 renowned journalism portals from around the world aggregated by the company, bringing the most recent headlines for those who wish to be informed in real time, without leaving the Desktop or opening a new page. The selection is updated throughout the day and, by hovering over each one, you already have a preview of the content. For now, only news and details about the stock market will be shown, but specific sections with weather forecast and one for sports will be added in future updates. Microsoft also guarantees that the space is fully customizable: the user can position the window wherever he wants, change the background color, country and width. It supports multiple monitors and dark or light Windows 10 themes. If you prefer, the bar can be minimized or reopened with just one click. A lot can still change until an eventual launch of the feature, as the company must use criticisms and suggestions to make changes to this feature. The News Bar Beta app is now available for download from the operating system store, but has only been released to US consumers so far.
