The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday (10/29) and claims compensation of $ 150,000. In the suit, Backgrid claims to have contacted Katy Perry’s representatives several times to talk about the “infringement” between mid-2017 and the beginning of this month. Katy’s team never agreed to pay for the use of the photo. After all, it is she who is in the picture – also made without her permission. Several artists are going through the same kind of situation.
