Change in minimap The update, released for Modern Warfare, allows players to change the minimap included in the game from circle to square. According to the players’ estimates, the square mini map shows 21.5% more of the map than the circle mini map. Of course, this provides a great advantage to the players using the square mini map. If you are a Modern Warfare player and you are using the circle minimap, it is quite easy to square it. The steps you need to follow to change the minimap shape are as follows; Settings (Options)> General (General)> HUD> Mini Map Shape. It is not yet known whether the game’s developer studio, Infinity Ward, is aware of this difference between the two minimaps. The studio can migrate all players to a square or circle minimap, or, together with an update it will release, make the two maps equal. This is not the studio’s first mistake in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare updates. In a past Modern Warfare update, teammate collisions were activated. Of course, the studio will solve this minimap issue in a short time that weekly updates are currently being released for Modern Warfare. Therefore, players may not have to wait too long for the solution of this problem.
