Producing smartphones for gamers, Nubia has announced that it will introduce Red Magic 5G at a conference on 12 March. Nubia president Ni Fei also provided some technical details that reflect the difference of the new player phone. We know from the promotions on Nubia’s social media accounts that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor, which provides 5G support. It will also have a cooling fan that can go up to 15,000 rpm in Red Magic 5G. Cooling fans, lowering the temperature of the hardware, make the phone perform better in games. Red Magic broke a record at AnTuTu with 633,724 points thanks to its 5G special fans. Ni Fei suggested that liquid cooling was insufficient to keep the interior cool, so a mechanical fan like Red Magic 3 was used. Nowadays, even 120 Hz screens are beginning to become widespread, Red Magic 5G will come with a 144 Hz screen. Thus, the phone will be able to offer a better gaming experience in games that support high refresh rates. The device is also known to have 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM. Nubia chief Ni Fei announced that the Red Magic 5G will use a 64-megapixel Sony main camera that is positioned vertically under the led flash light and in the center of the device. Finally, the next generation player phone is expected to run on the Android 10 operating system.
